Thomson Geer is advising DHL Supply Chains, an Australian subsidiary of global logistic giant DHL, on its acquisition of the Glen Cameron Group, a national road freight and contract logistics company.
The acquisition will strengthen DHL’s position in Australia’s road freight market and create one of the largest logistics companies in Australia with combined revenue of more than A$1 billion.
The Glen Cameron Group operates a fleet of 1000 trucks and trailers and has more than 820 employees around Australia.
The Thomson Geer team was led by Corporate Partner Dan Kramer, who said: “This is a significant acquisition for DHL and Glen Cameron Group, bringing together two leading logistics operators in Australia.
