Thomson Geer is pleased to have supported Canadian-incorporated copper exploration and development company, Marimaca Copper Corp. on its admission to quotation on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Marimaca is also listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The company’s flagship asset is the Marimaca Copper Project located in Chile’s Antofagasta region.
The dual listing will enable Marimaca to attract further institutional investment required to develop the project.
Thomson Geer advised Marimaca on all aspects of the listing, including detailed engagement with ASX to ensure a seamless overlap of the stock exchange rules of ASX and TSX.
The Thomson Geer team was led by Partners Scott Gibson and Michael Ng who said: "We would like to thank the Marimaca team for entrusting Thomson Geer to bring the company onto the ASX and share the opportunity to invest in their project with Australian investors."
Scott and Michael were supported by Lawyer Imogen Farmer.
Thomson Geer has significant experience assisting foreign companies to list on ASX. Among others, it has recently advised Resouro Strategic Metals Inc and Toubani Resources Limited on their dual listings on ASX, and is currently assisting various other foreign entities seeking admission to the ASX.
