Thomson Geer is pleased to announce the promotion of three lawyers to the firm's partnership.

The new Partners are:

• Nikolas Miljkovic – Health, Aged Care, Disability and Retirement Living
• Jeremy Thom – Energy and Resources
• Lauren Townsend – Employment, Workplace Relations and Safety

Chief Executive Partner Adrian Tembel said Nikolas, Jeremy and Lauren were high quality lawyers who displayed the qualities and skills to become a Partner.

Nikolas, who is based in Sydney, specialises in the aged care and retirement village industries, as well as the not-for-profit sector. He brings strong, detail-orientated strategic advice to an industry that is undergoing significant regulatory change.

Jeremy, based in Perth, specialises in major projects, especially in the power, oil and gas and transport sectors. Prior to joining Thomson Geer he was general counsel of a gas company and was head of legal for energy sourcing and customer supply at the largest electricity company in Europe. He combines deep contractual expertise with an understanding of commercial and operational imperatives to deliver for clients.

Lauren is based in Melbourne and specialises in employment, industrial relations, workplace investigations, discrimination, and work health and safety. She has excellent technical skills managing complex matters across advice work and litigation and is particularly strong in advising on industrial relations compliance questions.
