Thomson Geer has advised Sunbot Technologies and Foresight Group as they enter into a two year technology finance and prototype development project with the Stanhope Solar Farm, developed, owned and managed by Providence.

Under the project development agreements, Sunbot will provide Drone Equipment, imported from world leading autonomous robotics and cloud-based reporting services company H3 Dynamics from Singapore, supported locally by UAV Systems Australia. Sunbot will also provide funding assistance to Stanhope solar farm.

In exchange Stanhope solar farm will provide Sunbot with data collection facilities, solar farm operational data and a portfolio of solar farms under construction to conduct prototype testing. This collaboration and synergy are in line with Providence’s digital transformation roadmap on its 40x community based solar and storage projects cross Victoria and NSW regions.

The deal is a testament to Australia continuing to be a leader in the renewable energy optimization industry and a testing ground for market first technologies, through Foresight and Providence’s expertise in managing renewable energy investments and deployment of cutting edge clean technology and innovation to accelerate the transition into a clean energy future.
