Thomson Geer advises Jeta Gardens Aged Care on sale

Thomson Geer has advised Jeta Gardens Aged Care on the sale of its aged care business to aged care community manager Opal HealthCare.
The aged care facility with 178 residential places at Bethania, in South East Queensland, has been renamed Bethania Parklands Care Community.
Thomson Geer brought together a multi-discipline team to assist Jeta to successfully complete the transaction.
Thomson Geer advised Jeta on corporate, real estate, health and tax matters. Our work included vendor due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, and ancillary documents.
The team was led by Partner Jason Marcus who said: "We were pleased to be able to assist Jeta to divest its aged care facility as it seeks to focus on other investment opportunities."
