Thomson Geer is proud to announce it has adopted its first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), formalising the firm’s commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their culture.
RAP’s are managed by independent not-for-profit Reconciliation Australia and set out meaningful actions organisations can take that advance reconciliation.
“Thomson Geer has a strong record supporting Indigenous enterprises and organisations that work towards improving the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people,” Chief Executive Partner Adrian Tembel said.
“Adopting this Reconciliation Action Plan, which has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, was a natural next step for us.”
The firm’s RAP will formalise, deepen and expand its connections to make a positive difference with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
“We look forward to developing our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as a part of our ongoing journey towards reconciliation,” Mr Tembel said.
