Thomson Geer has acted for high tech minerals analysis company, Chrysos Corporation, in the largest initial public offering in Australia for 2022.
Chrysos listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in an IPO that raised A$183.5 million, with Thomson Geer advising on all Australian legal aspects of the listing.
Chrysos, based in Adelaide, uses its PhotonAssay product to deliver faster, safer, more accurate and environmentally-friendly analysis of gold, silver, copper and other elements. The technology was originally developed at Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO.
The Thomson Geer team was led by Partner Sanushka Seomangal who said: “We’re thrilled to have worked with Chrysos to achieve its listing on the ASX in what we hope will be one of many milestones to come for Chrysos.”
Chrysos will use the funds raised in the IPO to support its growth plans, including the manufacture of additional PhotonAssay units to meet the company’s sales pipeline.
The Thomson Geer team was led by Sanushka Seomangal and included associate, Kylie Zih, and lawyer Richard Gamayunov with support from other specialist practice areas including client relationship partner Demetrios Christou.
