Peter Kerr has acted for many of Australia’s largest and most well-known banks and financial institutions.
He is a highly experienced lawyer and relationship manager. Clients benefit from his involvement as relationship partner as he understands the requirements and procedures of corporations, businesses and financial institutions. He is committed to developing a strong rapport with clients and is well connected in the business, sporting and general community. Over many years, he has developed expertise and knowledge of working in the public sector.
Peter is well known for his work in Australian and international sport and community organisations. In 2023 he was appointed to the NSW Hall of Champions Selection Committee. He was a member of the FINA Doping Panel from 2000 to 2023, the National Sports Tribunal, Combat Sports Authority of NSW and is a board member of Cronulla RSL Memorial Club and the Hungry Point Land Manager. He is also the Oceania Member of the Independent Ethics Commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees. Peter was honoured to give the Judges’ Oath at the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Peter is a former chair of Water Polo Australia Limited and Sport Knowledge Australia, and was formerly a Board Member of the Cronulla Sharks NRL Club and Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation Inc.
He received the Australian Sports Medal in 2000 and was named a Member of the Order of Australia in 2008.
