Chris Bishop is a leading debt finance lawyer based in Perth.  He is one of the few finance lawyers in Perth to have partner-level international experience at a tier-1 global firm.

Chris acts for corporate groups, project sponsors, private credit funds and bank lenders on structured and secured finance transactions.  His experience includes acting on some of the largest energy and resources sector debt finance transactions in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.  He has experience in acquisition finance, project finance, commodity lending, hedging, export credit agency and multilateral backed financings, green loans, margin loans and trade finance.

In addition to his finance work, Chris has advised sponsors, project companies and financiers on major project contracts, including power purchase agreements and offtake agreements. He has a strong understanding of bankability in project transactions and brings his significant and varied experience to drive solutions for his clients.
