Her work includes advising on software procurement and licensing, IP protection, commercialisation and strategy, privacy and data protection regulatory and compliance issues, as well as trade promotions and charitable gaming compliance.  

Briar helps clients build value in their businesses through targeted, comprehensive branding strategies, and manages a number of local and global trade mark portfolios for retail and software development clients.

With a particular interest in fostering growth in creative start-ups, Briar has built a burgeoning digital entertainment practice, assisting game developers, production companies, and other digital creatives in the establishment and management of their businesses, including in respect of outsourcing, IP commercialisation strategy and enforcement, seeking government and private funding and investments, and negotiating with publishers, online platforms and other distributors.
