Benn specialises in construction law and regularly acts on behalf of local, national and multi-national contractors in the infrastructure, energy and resources sectors, providing advisory and dispute resolution services.

His experience includes advice regarding construction and engineering claims, drafting and reviewing construction contracts and related documentation for major construction and infrastructure projects and representing clients in dispute resolution proceedings, including in court and domestic and international arbitration.

Benn is also experienced with representing clients in adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payments) Act 2021 (WA) and the Construction Contracts Act 2004 (WA)and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.
