Ming is fluent in Mandarin and has acted for many Chinese and Asian clients in her property practice. With an Asian background, Ming understands and is able to relate to the many business requirements or investment decisions that Chinese and Asian companies consider when setting up businesses in Australia. Acting for foreign private investors in the legal due diligence and successful acquisition of Burwood One Shopping Centre for an amount in excess of A$180 million, providing legal advice on all aspects of the capital transaction including Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) submission, leasing advice, co-ownership deed, property financing through to completion of settlement.

Ginkgo Investments Pty Ltd

Acting for Ginkgo Investments Pty Ltd on its purchase of a prime A$60 million 606 St Kilda Road office building in Melbourne, including conducting legal due diligence, reviewing leases, providing strategic legal advice and guidance in a highly competitive sale campaign, submitting and obtaining Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval, and successfully closing the deal and securing the acquisition within a relatively tight timeframe.
