December 22, 2020

Thomson Geer partner Jacquie Seemann has been appointed to the newly formed NSW Jewish Day School Review Committee.

Jacquie joins other leaders from within the Jewish community, business, philanthropy and education who are operating as part of a NSW Jewish community-wide plan to address the challenges faced by Jewish schools in NSW.

Spearheading the Committee is David Gonski AC. Other Committee members are Stephen Chipkin, immediate past President of JCA; Kelly Bayer Rosmarin, Optus CEO; Jonathan Gavshon, Group Homes Australia Co-CEO; Anna Green, BCG Senior Partner; Anne Hastings, former Principal of Emanuel School and current Masada Board Member; Gary Pinshaw, McKinsey Senior Partner; Caryn Sandler, Gilbert + Tobin Partner and Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer; and Allan Vidor, Toga Group Managing Director.

It is proposed that the Committee will conduct an impartial assessment of the sustainability of NSW’s Jewish Day Schools over the coming decades, and provide suitable recommendations. With the collaborative effort of all the schools, and the knowledge, passion and commitment of this Committee and its members, the hope is to ensure the sustainability of Jewish Day School education for future generations of the NSW community.

Congratulations to Jacquie and all those who have been appointed to the Committee.
